Yours Truly Christian Matchmaking offers a variety of convenient options that you may build into your contract. These options include a formal hold term that you may use at your discretion for exploring a new relationship. Our Clients find plenty of time allotted within the contracted term to explore their dating options.

A defined hold period is available as an addendum to your contract. These hold periods must be used in increments of 30 days, and hold time may not exceed the time defined on your contract. This hold can be used at your discretion for any reason.

Your Matchmaker will present you with Candidates that meet the preferences indicated within your Benchmarks for Success. These presentations will be sent by email and will include recent photo(s). Each presentation is custom tailored to your search. These presentations detail a potential match’s lifestyle, education, profession, interests, as well as religious and political affiliations. Our interviews and presentations will also cover the Candidate’s relationship history, detail their goals for a new relationship, as well as personal evaluations from your Matchmaker regarding their physical appearance, personality indicators, and how they present themselves. These presentations will be sent by email and may include recent photo(s). Due to confidentiality, at the request of our Clients we may not be able to present a photo. As part of our Meet Your Future process, Selective Search Matchmakers, Candidate Coordinators, and Scouts conduct personal interviews with Candidates to determine a perfect match. Additionally, you may be contacted by our team to provide further information about your status, lifestyle, preferences in a partner, or to provide recent photographs. Timely and accurate information will allow us to determine if the Client we have in mind is the right match for you. While there is no guaranteed time-line, our expert Matchmakers put much due diligence into each search to honor your time and to ensure a great two way fit. Upon completion of an interview, we will utilize the information shared to ascertain if the match we have in mind is congruent with your interests. We will follow up with you if we believe in the potential of a match, to share further information about the individual we have in mind. If upon revision of your information, our Matchmakers do not determine a great two-way fit, we will keep you top of mind and work collaboratively to consider you for the right match.

Timing is everything- in life, and in love. Once you have completed the registration of your Candidate profile, we understand that your status, location, and availability can change. To honor your time and preferences, we will always confirm your availability directly, prior to conducting due diligence and determining long-term compatibility. Selective Search Matchmakers work collaboratively to identify the best candidate for a specific Client. You may hear from multiple Selective Search employees via phone call, email, text message, or social media outreach. Rest assured, we will always keep you “top of mind” for anyone who may be a great fit.

Upon submitting your Candidate profile to Selective Search, you should receive a confirmation email from us to let you know that we have received your information. Sometimes spam filters intercept our email. Try checking the junk folder if you do not receive a confirmation. If it has gone to your spam or junk folder, ensure that you add us to your “safe senders” list so that you will receive any future communications from us. Please keep in mind that due to our confidentiality policy, we cannot confirm receipt of your profile by phone. Once your profile is complete, you will be eligible to be matched with our Clients. Our Matchmakers will review your profile, and reach out to you to schedule an interview if there is potential for a match with one of our Clients. This may be immediate or further down the road. Much like an executive recruiter, there are no guarantees. However, you have nothing to lose and the love of your life to gain. Although our Candidate Program is free to join, Selective Search Candidates are dedicated to making their love life a priority. If you submitted your photo at the time of your application, you will receive an email confirming receipt of both your profile and your photos. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder. If you email your photos to us after you created your profile, you will receive a photo confirmation from our staff letting you know that we have updated your photos. Due to our confidentiality policy we are not able to confirm receipt of photos over the phone.

A Yours Truly Christian Matchmaking Candidate profile is not complete without a photo. Any profile received without a photo will not be eligible for a match. A complete profile stores up to 10 photos. Ideal profile photos include a headshot and multiple full length shots. If you submit a group photo, please be specific about your position or attire in the photo. Profile photos do not have to be professional, but they should be recent (taken within the past 6 months). Please avoid photos with hats or sunglasses. All uploaded photos must be in JPG format and the size must be less than 2 Megabytes (MB). Should you have difficulty uploading your photo(s), you can email them directly to ytchristianmatchmaking@gmail.com, and they will be confidentially uploaded to your internal profile.
